Welcome
Welcome to the RobertNagel.com web site. You may have been directed here from the RobertNagel.org Web site. I am moving all the commercial information about me to the RobertNagel.com Web site, because I realized that the commercial information is more appropriately located under my .com Web site and the non-commercial information about me is more appropriately located under my .org Web site. Please change your link to RobertNagel.com
I will be building a new .org site about other activities I am engaged in such as:
- my participation in the United Nations comprehensive convention to protect and promote the rights and dignity of people who are disabled
- my involvement with Blind Visions and Blind Line
- workshops I conduct on innovation management
This Web site is about my professional experience including the technological solutions I have created for some special projects, as well as contemporary issues about which I feel I have an informed perspective.
You are probably here because you have been invited either by me or one of my colleagues. I welcome you to Contact me directly with questions or comments.
I am known as an information scientist because the information systems I have designed and implemented often have required the creation of new concepts and technologies. Many of these systems have withstood the test of time, attesting to their enduring design and exacting implementation.
My professional experience is described along with Key Positions I have held in the field of information systems development.
The Systems page summarizes some special systems, to which I have contributed design and often implementation. The new ideas and technologies required for these systems have sometimes resulted in Patents.
Independent of my professional experience are my private Activities in support of vital contemporary issues—as an advocate for international technological advancements and for the rights of persons with disabilities worldwide.
Important components of this Web site are described on a Site Map page, and the people who have contributed to the design of this site are listed on an About My Web Site page.
